Image Submission Process and Guidelines
The Process
Once you are a contributor for MediaStock you will be able to upload photos using
the 'My Account' part of the website. You have the ability to add description,
category, keywords and pricing information to each photo. Any photos which you have
recently uploaded or modified information on, go to a 'pending' state. We then
review the photo and associated text and if all is OK, the photo goes to a 'live'
state. At this time the photo is then visible on the website and customers are
able to purchase it.
Guidelines
To minimise the chance of a photo getting rejected, please try and follow the
guidelines below:
1) The photo is at least 2 megapixels, preferably greater than 4 megapixels.
2) The photo is technically good quality - good composition, focus, exposure, colour and with lack of artifacts (such as dust, purple fringing, noise).
3) The photo is relevant to the site - must have been taken in the UK and be of a UK location or subject.
4) The photo does not have recognisable people in it, unless a model release is available.
5) If the photo was taken on private property, a property release form is available if the photo requires it.
